Another version of the Variant, this fly is excellent for darker mayflies such as the Brown Drake. Keep a variety of Variant colors and sizes and use them to match as closely as possible the mayflies you see hatching on the stream. Size first, color second. Color, Tan. Fly in sizes: 10, 12, 14.
